5/15/00 Update

Once again, David Howard will be conducting his popular and highly valuable seminars for teachers this summer. Don't miss the opportunity to learn from the master! Call for more information.

3/19/99 Update

BAE has expanded again, now with 5 studios and 3 dressing rooms, including lockers for your gear.  Julia reports that Lourdes Lopez and Alan Hineline have joined the faculty.

She also wants you to know that BAE holds teaching training seminars, led by David Howard. For those of you thinking about the summer, BAE's Summer Intensive program for intermediate and advanced students features the BAE faculty as well as guest teachers. In past years David Howard, Christine Spizzo, Valentina Koslova, Kyra Nichols, Jock Soto and Heather Watts have done guest teaching at the school.

------------------

In the last couple of years, BAE has emerged as a major force in dance education in NYC, with an emphasis on classical ballet but an excellent selection of modern, jazz and tap classes as well. BAE's teachers include Paul Estabrook, Espin Giljane, Lynn Glauber, Darla Hoover, Katrina Killian, Hilda Morales, Frances Patrelle, Barbara Sandonato, and Peter Schabel -- all top artists, many of whom danced with the major companies. The school boasts four spacious studios with sprung floors and marley surfaces. Open classes run seven days a week. There is a graded children's program beginning with pre-ballet, and young students may be invited to perform in Patrelle's "Nutcracker" as well as spring engagements of "Dances. . . Patrelle."
