Tony Phillips
 is a freelance writer and film maker living in New York City. He has written for Interview, Time Out New York, Details, Art in America and Teen People.

After ten years in production at various corporately held entities like MTV, People Magazine and America Online, he has launched his own media conglomerate called Spooky Electric Productions.

Spooky Electric currently has three features in production. "Born Again: On Tour and In Bed With Kate Bornstein," a documentary about the legendary transgender activist, is slated for a fall release.
