Caroline
Baines
Caroline completed her Bachelor of Psychology and Master of
Psychology at the University of Western Australia. She is a registered
clinical psychologist who has worked in private practice for eleven
years. She became involved in the treatment of eating disorder
patients seven years ago after a family member fell victim to bulimia.
This led initially to working with patients in her practice and later
within several eating disorder programs in Western Australia.
Caroline has guest lectured health care professionals at Curtin
University and Edith Cowan University on the treatment of eating
disorder patients and is a member of the Institute of Private
Clinical Psychologists of Australia (WA) and of the Australian
Psychological Society.
As a
child she studied ballet for ten years. Her eldest daughter is an
aspiring ballet dancer currently training in London.
Caroline is married to Rob and they have four children, Anastasia,
William, Matthew and Madeline. She and her family recently moved to
Canberra, Australia where she has left private practice in order to
further her education.
