Stacey Forsyth recently graduated Magna cum Laude from New York University.
Her double major in Musical Theatre and English has led to a dual career.
She is the Associate Editor for the Dance Revue, a quarterly publication
that appears in print and on the Web, and s
he is a Principal Dancer with
Ballet for Young
Audiences and Ballet Ambassadors.
Her other credits include the Millbrook Playhouse, Anna Sokolow's Players
Project, Mary
Anthony's Dance Company, The Harkness Ballet Outreach, and Tim Martin's Choreographies. Stacey created the role of Petitsa in the Little Orchestra
Society's
production of "Peter and the Wolf" at Lincoln Center. Also at Lincoln
Center, she was
selected to do supernumerary work with the Royal Ballet of England and the
Stuttgart
Ballet of Germany.
In addition to performing, Stacey was a member of the faculty of the Young
People's
Program as STEPS on Broadway for five years. She is currently a teaching
artist for the
outreach programs of The American Ballet Theatre and City Center.
When she is not on stage or at her computer, Stacey models for Danskin
Dancewear and
has been a cover model for Curtain Call Costumes for five years.
